DB2 Test
Syntax: db2 test

Description:

Initiates an IBM DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition connection test independently of the connection pool. Creates a DB2 connection using the same user as the IBM Lotus Domino server, and then disconnects.

Examples:

db2 test

connecting to 'DOMINO' as user 'mdnadmin'

connection test succeeded

The following example shows the same command entered on a different server:

db2 test

connecting to 'DOMINO' as user 'db2inst2'

connection test succeeded
