LOTUS INOTES

Using realm documents in Lotus iNotes
When Anonymous access is disallowed on the IBMŸ LotusŸ DominoŸ server, and basic authentication by user name and password is enabled, users will be challenged to authenticate for both the /mail and the /iNotes realms. To resolve this issue of having multiple login requests, create realm documents to map access from other paths to the root path.

On MicrosoftŸ WindowsŸ create a realm document to map your Domino data directory, for example c:\domino\data (or wherever your Domino data directory is located), to return a realm of "/".

On UNIXŸ, create a realm document that specifies a Domino data directory of /local/domino_data (or wherever your Domino Directory is located).
